Join the Mission: Saving the Shoebill Stork
Welcome to Friends of Save Shoebill! We’re on a mission to protect one of the world’s most unique and threatened bird species – the shoebill stork. With only 3,300 to 5,300 shoebills left in the wild, urgent action is needed to ensure their survival.
Our organization, a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit, works tirelessly to raise funds for the Save Shoebill Conservation Project based in Uganda, as well as other initiatives focused on shoebill stork conservation and habitat preservation. Through your donations and support, we can make a real difference in safeguarding these majestic birds and their ecosystems.
You can help in various ways – whether it’s by donating to our cause, shopping in our store where proceeds go directly to conservation efforts, or simply spreading the word about the importance of shoebill conservation. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to our shared goal of protecting these incredible creatures for future generations.
Stay updated on our latest projects and successes by following us on Facebook and Instagram. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for the shoebill stork!
I would love to be able to travel to you. Learn everything. Help. Raise awareness. Create fundraising for this spectacular, amazing, mesmerizing, dinosaur of a creature. I get chills when I see them. We must protect them from… well… US (stupid humans)
